FAQs

You might have some questions about the membership. These are the most commonly asked questions....

How do I know if The Badminton Hub membership is right for me?

If you’ve ever been frustrated with a lack of improvement or you imagine playing badminton with speed and ease around the court but you’re just not sure how…

The membership will provide you with the coaching and tools to improve your technique, footwork, fitness and ability to compete. It’s not for anyone wanting a ‘quick fix’ or short-term solution.

We’re about developing skills for life and putting in the work required to get there. If you want to become a better badminton player and feel like you haven’t reached your potential yet…this is for you.

What is the "Play Better Badminton" guarantee all about?

I’m so certain you will be playing better badminton that if for some crazy reason you haven’t improved after 12 months, I’ll happily refund your entire membership fee*. Simply contact our support team here.

How can I cancel my membership?

Most members stick around for years, but in the unlikely event you’d like to cancel your membership, you can email support@thebadmintonhub.com. There’s no lock-in contract and you can cancel anytime. There are no refunds on the unused portion of your membership.

How does the video analysis work?

Getting a video analysis of you playing badminton is simple. All you need to do is take a 10-15 minute video of yourself either:

  • Doing footwork or training routines
  • Playing a match
  • Practising a specific shot
  • A combination of the above

Upload your video to a private YouTube account, then post the link in your private account on The Badminton Hub website, and I’ll do the rest. If you’re not comfortable using Youtube, then you can send me a private link to your video via Dropbox or email. I’ll do a complete analysis for you for each video with adjustments to make, drills to follow and key focus areas. These will also be posted in your members only account on The Badminton Hub website.

How do I film myself playing badminton?

The best angles to get are from directly behind you whilst you are playing on court. (and to the side if you would like analysis of a particular stroke. i.e. front of court for net shots. Back of court for overhead shots). You can even film yourself playing in a competition and send this through for observation and analysis. Just remember that it’s always best to use a good tripod to improve your video quality which you can attach your mobile phone or iPad too.

What currency is the pricing in?

Due to the global nature of our business, all pricing is in US Dollars (USD). If your accounting is not in USD, your billing statement may show the converted price to your country’s currency. Exchange rates are calculated by Stripe at the time of purchase.
