🏸 Junior Fundamentals at Point Cook
Our Junior Fundamentals program is designed for players aged 7–16 who are building a strong foundation in badminton. Sessions focus on developing essential footwork, coordination, racket skills, and game awareness in a fun and supportive environment.
Players learn the correct techniques from the start, build confidence, and develop the habits needed to progress into our Performance pathway when ready.
đź’Ş Junior Performance Squads (Ages 8-12 & 13-17)
The Performance Squads are invite-only training groups for players who have demonstrated advanced skill, athleticism, and dedication. Entry is determined through a series of technical, speed, and fitness assessments, ensuring each player trains at the right intensity and standard.
These squads follow a structured program focusing on high-performance drills, tactical gameplay, and competition readiness. Players are expected to attend a minimum of two sessions per week and compete in Badminton Victoria–sanctioned events as outlined in the BV Competition Pathway.
Our coaches provide continual feedback, progress tracking, and tournament guidance to help each athlete reach their potential — both on and off the court.
